Bi Life Off the Screen
Equal marriage reached England, Wales and Scotland in 2014 and Northern Ireland in 2020, and the UK's bi community gets together in person too. BiCon, a weekend gathering run by volunteers, calls itself the world's longest-running bisexual event. The people who come build the programme themselves, and it met in Nottingham in 2025 and again in 2026. Bi Pride UK, a charity with the tagline "Attraction beyond gender", held its 2026 day at Kings Place in London at the end of August.

Healthy, Supported and Still Discreet
NHS sexual health clinics are open to everyone, they're confidential and the tests cost nothing. Staff won't share what you tell them, even with your GP, without your permission, and some clinics offer home testing kits. PrEP, the medicine that helps prevent HIV, is available from sexual health clinics in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
