Bisexual Dating in New York: Bi Curious in the City

From Christopher Street to Brooklyn, flirt quietly and meet on your terms.

Big City, Private Flirting

For bisexual dating in New York, start with the numbers: My Bisexual Secret counts more than 170 members in New York State, and more than 40 in New York City and Brooklyn. What follows goes borough by borough, then covers bi+ groups, Pride, the age mix and how to keep a first meet safe.

Choose men, women, couples or a mix when you sign up; your daily matches weigh those choices alongside distance.

Your City, Borough by Borough

  • Manhattan: Greenwich Village. The Stonewall Inn, 53 Christopher Street, opens every day until 4am. The Stonewall National Monument, which takes in the Inn and Christopher Park, became the first US national monument for an LGBT historic site in 2016, and its visitor centre at 51 Christopher Street opened in 2024. Julius', at West 10th Street and Waverly Place, has been a bar on that corner since the mid-19th century, and Henrietta Hudson, 438 Hudson Street, calls itself a queer human bar.
  • Manhattan: Hell's Kitchen. A large LGBTQ population and many LGBTQ bars, Industry Bar at 355 West 52nd Street among them, open from 5pm to 4am daily.
  • Brooklyn. Its members are part of the more than 40 in the city, and the Health Department runs a sexual health clinic in Fort Greene.
  • Queens and the Bronx. More Health Department clinics, in Jamaica and Corona in Queens and in Morrisania in the Bronx.
  • Across the Hudson. Jersey City and Hoboken are a PATH ride away. PATH stopped taking MetroCards on 1 September 2026.

For a first date, a drink at Julius' or the Stonewall Inn lets the history do half the talking.

Bi+ Groups That Meet at The Center

BiRequest runs in-person and online groups through the NYC Tri-State Area Bisexual+ SGL Queer & Questioning Meetup. There, a Bisexual+ Social & Discussion Group meets on the third Thursday of the month at The Center, 208 West 13th Street, and afterwards there's a casual dinner, the Butta' Bisexual+ Munch. The same Meetup lists a Bisexual+ Men's Discussion Group and Side-Bi-Side's online self-care group on the fourth Tuesday.

On the subway and buses, OMNY lets you tap a contactless card or your phone, and fares are capped after 12 paid trips in seven days on the same one. Before a first meet, text a friend the bar's address, Julius' at West 10th and Waverly, say, along with your date's username, and confirm they've got the blue tick of an ID check.
