Is My Bisexual Secret Legit?

The checks, the costs and what stays private, answered plainly.

Yes. My Bisexual Secret is a real dating site for bisexual and bi curious men, women and couples, online since 2022 and run on the HubPeople dating platform. It has nearly 13,000 members, checks identities with a free ID check and a live video check, screens every photo, and sells membership openly by the week or the month.

That is the short answer. The longer one matters more, because a fair question deserves a fair look at how the site works, what it costs and what you can do yourself to stay safe on any dating site.

A Real Site With a Real History

My Bisexual Secret has had the same name, the same address and the same promise since at least April 2022: a discreet space for bisexual and bi curious people to meet. Since March 2025 it has run on HubPeople’s dating platform, which runs the members’ area, payments, moderation and support.

Members live in several countries. More than 4,400 live in the UK, more than 3,800 in the USA, more than 1,700 in Canada, more than 1,000 in South Africa and more than 900 in Australia. Most are men, and there are more than 700 couples and more than 500 women. Almost half are aged 35 to 54. Our places page and country pages, such as bisexual dating in the UK, show where they are.

How Profiles Are Checked

  • Free ID check. Any member can verify their identity with official ID and gets a blue tick for it.
  • Live video check. A short live check with a moderator confirms someone is who their photos say, with no documents involved.
  • Age assurance. Ages are estimated automatically, with further checks where the law requires them, so the site stays 18+.
  • Moderation on upload. Photos, videos and text are screened by software and by people when they are uploaded, and explicit images are blurred until you choose to see them.
  • Behaviour monitoring. Unusual or suspicious activity is flagged automatically, so scammers and bots are spotted early.
  • Warnings about off-site chat. If someone pushes to move the conversation to WhatsApp or another app, the site warns you, because that is the oldest trick in the scam book.

Our safety page lists every protection in full.

Spot a Fake Before It Wastes Your Evening

No dating site stops every fake account. The checks above catch a lot; your own instincts catch the rest. Here is what to watch for:

  1. No blue tick, and a reason why not every time you ask.
  2. Photos that look like a magazine shoot, or a profile with one photo and no words.
  3. A rush to move the chat off the site, or a phone number in the first message.
  4. Any mention of money: a fee, a gift card, a ticket, an emergency.
  5. Pressure to meet somewhere private before you have met somewhere public.

If something feels off, block and report from the profile. It takes seconds, and it helps the moderators clear accounts like that faster.

Look for the Blue Tick

What It Costs, With Nothing Hidden

Joining and setting up a profile comes first, and you can look around before you choose a plan. VIP, which adds unlimited messaging, members-only chat rooms and the city and distance filters, costs £14.99 for a week or works out at £2.99 a week on a 12-month plan. VIP Plus adds priority placement and exclusive matches, from £15.99 for a week. Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month plans renew at the same price until you stop them; the 12-month plans do not renew in any currency the pricing page lists. That page shows every plan in seven currencies.

Your Secret, Kept

You go by a username; nobody sees your real name or email address. Your profile shows only your nearest town or city. Blocking is instant. VIP billing keeps the site’s name off your bank statement, and the site runs in your phone’s browser, so there is no app icon on your home screen unless you add one. Support is there around the clock by chat and messaging if anything goes wrong.

Fair Questions, Straight Answers
